FOUR MORE?

What are you living FOUR? What are you wishing FOUR? FOUR what is your Purpose? FOUR how long have you been asking… when is it going to be my turn FOUR things to go right, FOUR things to look up, FOUR things to be better?

Come on and guess what FOUR means!!! Four of kind?… nope. Four quarters (football fans)?… Nope. Ten-Four?… No, [Smokey]. Four More Years for Obama? … not goin there! Unlucky Four (Chinese culture says it’s unlucky.., but they say Seven is too and I don’t believe that… I’ve seen my Mom win a lot of money on the craps table with #7).
Four more what? Four more times; four more years…. Ok, that was a hint. You got it now?

This begs the question: What are YOU doing the last FOUR MONTHS of the year?

ARE YOU LIVING FOUR MORE?

I love this time of year because it’s a time to look back and look forward. Some will look back and say “Oh darn, I really didn’t meet the goals I started in January.” Or some may say “Where is that scratch paper I wrote my goals on.” Others say “Goals? You mean like in soccer?” The person who wants MORE out of life says, “What am I going to do different and better these last Four Months”? That’s me. That’s Mike. And that is the circle of friends and mentors that we surround ourselves with. Who are you surrounding yourself with?

You’ll be the same in five years as you are today, except for the people you meet and the books you read. ~ Charlie ‘Tremendous’ Jones~.

This same quote holds true for the next four months… the LAST FOUR MONTHS OF THE YEAR!

Here are four things I urge you to do over the next four days. The last 2 are most important!

1. Write down 4 goals for the next four months. Write it on a post it and smack it on your bathroom mirror or fridge. Wherever you’ll see it daily. These can be baby goals or big goals, but WRITE THEM down. They have a 90% greater chance of getting accomplished when written.

2. Read or listen to 1 new book in the next four months. My personal favorites: Three Feet from Gold; Heaven is For Real; Eat That Frog; and the classic: Think and Grow Rich.

3. This one is BIG… start something new. Not just anything new. Something that will make you grow personally, spiritually, and financially. This is when you have to reach down and say “I’m sick and tired of ____”. You fill in the blanks… being Broke?… looking old?… getting nowhere?… the people around me (you may need some new friends… “You can’t fly with the eagles if you are hanging with the turkeys”). Then find a VEHICLE to help you grow. A Vehicle? Not a car. A vehicle like a business, a charity, a project, an educational course. A positive vehicle that will help you grow. A vehicle with a bumper stick that reads “Life Change in Progress”.

4. Find Partners with a Purpose. We are not meant to be alone. Partners and Mentors are critical to everyone’s success. When you choose a vehicle to help you grow, be sure the people… the partners… are going to inspire you, teach you, and guide you to learn this NEW vehicle.

When you do the above Four things, you will not only Finish the Last Four months stronger. You are setting yourself up to start the new year right! What you do these next Four Minutes, Four Days, Four Months, will be ALL the difference in how your year ends AND how the first Four Months start in 2013.

Mike and I are starting step #3 this week…. We are starting something new. It’s a new business! Anti-aging skin care, with stem cell technology; and nutritional products for anti-aging, diabetes, and overall health. Sure, some people may think we are crazy doing another business…. Like it’s a risk. You know what a bigger risk is… Doing Nothing! Yes, we’ve fallen down at times, but many of the world’s greatest success stories have people that fell… and yet they got up again and again. Come on you KFC lovers, you know the Colonel Sanders story…. You wouldn’t have your fried drumsticks if he gave up after the 900th attempt.

We are FOUR CERTAIN that these last FOUR months will be better! It is because of our vehicle; our partners who are our friends, mentors, and industry leaders; and because of our attitude of hope and perseverance.

The road to success is dotted with many tempting parking places.
